Punta Falcone Park visitor can't help being fascinated; this wonderful natural terrace on the sea is located right between the Ligurian Sea and the Tyrrenian Sea. Its ideal position allows a wide view on the Canale of Piombino, the island of Elba and further away, on clear days, the Corsica mountains, the island of Giglio, the Argentario , and the island of Montecristo.
During spring mediterrenean vegetation bursts with life and beauty; among the species on the area there are HOLM OAKS, PHILLIREA, BROOMS. During spring, many species give colour with their flowers: pink and white CISTUS, yellow BROOMS, bright red ICE PLANTS. A good part of the vegetation in the park was classified; on the visiting path signals point the various species both by their common and scientific name.
